2 Sri Lankans arrested in India for possessing 140 kilos of Kerala Marijuana
Two Sri Lankans who attempted to smuggle 140 Kg of Kerala Marijuana to Sri Lanka, worth Indian Rs. 15 million, were arrested at Ramanadapuram area in Tamil Nadu yesterday.
Indian media sources reported that they have also arrested an Indian national in connection with the incident.
The stock of marijuana was hidden in Yanipar island in Tamil Nadu, in order to smuggle them to Sri Lanka.
Meanwhile, another Indian national was arrested at Thirupalaikudi in Tamil Nadu in possession of 25 kg of sea horses and 15 kg of sea cucumbers.
