Jayantha Ketagoda willing to handover Parliamentary seat to Sarath Fonseka
MP Jayantha Ketagoda says that he is ready to resign from his position in order to send Democratic Party leader Sarath Fonseka to the parliament.
MP Ketagoda joined the parliament to fill the vacancy left after Sarath Fonseka was imprisoned by an army tribunal.
It was notable that JVP who deserved the position at the time, did not accept it.
However, MP Jayantha Ketagoda added that he is ready to offer his position to Sarath Fonseka, upon a request made by Sarath Fonseka’s former secretary.
When asked if he regrets the decision taken to support Mahinda Rajapaksa at the recent Presidential election MP Jayantha Ketagoda said he had no regrets and said that decisions need to be taken at times depending on the political situation.
