Former minister Mahinda Samarasinghe says that he would expect UNP to take disciplinary action against UNP MP Palitha Tevarapperuma who created chaos at Agalawatta town yesterday.

SLFP General Secretary Anura Priyadarshana Yapa also participated in this media conference.

Samarasinghe who is also the chief SLPF organizer of Agalawatta electorate stated this during a media conference held at the SLFP headquarters this morning.

Police Media Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said that STF personnel were deployed in Agalawatta and Matugama areas after the incident.

He also said legal action would be initiated against UNP MP Palitha Tevarapperuma for his alleged connection to this incident.
