31 Hospitalized in private bus accident

31 persons were injured in a bus accident that occurred yesterday on the Matugama – Horana Road at Naaragala in Bulathsinhala.

The accident took place as a result of a head-on collision between a private bus plying from Horana to Bulathsinhala and a bus coming from the opposite direction.

Horana Hospital spokesperson responding to a query our news team made this morning, said that while a number persons wounded in the accident had by now left the hospital after treatment, 19 persons were receiving treatment as indoor patients.
