Costructive criticism is important than destructive praising - says President
President Maithreepala Sirisena said that constructive criticism is more important than destructive praising in his effort to carry forward his government.
The President expressed these views during a meeting with the representatives of the Power of Citizens organization and New Generation organization at the Presidential Secretariat today.
The participants pointed out that the Presidential Investigation unit should be restructured aiming society and country-centric.
Meanwhile 6 new governors were sworn in before President Maithreepala Sirisena today.
The new appointments are as follows: M.G. Jayasinghe as the Governor of Uva Province, H.M.G.S. Palihakkara to the Northern Province, P.B. Dissanayake to the North-Central Province, .M.A.R. Perera to the Sabaragamuwa Province, Surangani Ellawala to the Central Province and Austin Fernando to the Eastern Province. New Governors for the Western Province, the Southern Province and for the North Western Province took oaths last Friday.
