40 vehicles of Presidential Secretariat yet to be traced

Police Media Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana says that 40 more, missing vehicles belonging to the Presidential Secretariat are yet to be traced.

The SSP revealed this when our news team enquired him about the proceedings of the investigation on missing vehicles from the Presidential Secretariat during the former President’s tenure.

However missing vehicles from the Presidential Secretariat during the former President’s time was raised today in parliament.

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said that the investigators are finding it difficult even to trace the legal documents of these missing vehicles.

The Prime Minister said therefore an investigation into these missing vehicles should be done through parliament intervention.

Answering to Democratic National Alliance parliament group leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake, the Prime Minister stated this under the parliament standing orders 23-2.
