Bandula wants Bribery to expedite investigation against him
The former Education Minister Bandula Gunawardana visited the Commission to Investigate Bribery or Corruption today and made a request.
The former minister requested the Bribery Commission to swiftly investigate the petition filed against him and his former ministry secretary by the Lanka Teachers Services Association.
The Lanka Teachers Services Association filed a petition with the Commission to Investigate Bribery or Corruption charging that financial irregularities have occurred with regard to the Mahindodaya Laboratory projects.
Lanka Teachers Services Association General Secretary Mahinda Jayasinghe expressed his views after the petition was submitted yesterday.
However former Education Minister Bandula Gunawardana introduced this allegation as the biggest insult in his life, and requested the Bribery Commission to immediately investigate the allegations.
