Draft act to Parliament - Anura Kumara
JVP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake says that a draft act relevant to the constitutional change as discussed at the national executive council would be presented in parliament soon.
This National Executive Council aimed at a wide socio-economic and political reconstruction met for the first time at the Presidential Secretariat on 15th January.
President Maitripala Sirisean, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, former President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaranatunga, JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake, JHU general secretary Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka, Democratic Party Leader Sarath Fonseka, Democratic People’s Front leader Mano Ganeshan, All Ceylon Muslim Congress leader Rishaad Badiudin, TNA leader R. Sambandan and Muslim Congress leader Minister Rauff Hakim are members of this national council.
Expressing his views to our news team further, JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake said that the relevant draft act would be submitted soon.
