Former Minister Tissa Attanayake said although his political journey was changed, the human trait could not be changed.

Attanayake was addressing the media after he was bailed out on two personal bonds amounting to one million rupees each by Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage today.

The former minister was arrested and remanded on the 2nd of this month in connection with preparing a forged document using signatures of the then presidential common candidate President Maithreepala Sirisena and then Opposition leader and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

MPs Bandula Gunawardana, Namal Rajapaksa, Duleep Wijesekera and Ruwan Ranatunga also participated in the media conference.

During the media conference, journalists questioned from MP Namal Rajapaksa about Yoshitha Rajapaksa leaving the country.

MP Rajapaksa said that his brother has obtained Defence Ministry permission and gone abroad on an urgent matter.
