The arrested former Transport Director of the Presidential Secretariat, Keerthi Dissanayake, was remanded until the 18th of this month.

He was remanded after been produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate court.

Addressing a media conference being held at the Police Headquarters, the Police Media Spokesman said Dissanayake was arrested in connection with the misplacement of 3 vehicles and their relevant documents belonging to the Presidential Secretariat.

Police found several vehicles belonging to the Presidential Secretariat as they were abandoned in various places during the last few weeks.

The CID has filed a case in connection with these vehicles at the Fort Magistrate Court.

Fort Magistrate Thilinga Gamage issued an injunction preventing the former Transport Director attached to the Presidential Secretariat Keerthi Dissanayake from leaving the country.

Police Media Spokesman SSP Ajith Rohana said that former Transport Director of the Presidential Secretariat Keerthi Dissanayake was arrested.

Addressing a media conference being held at the Police Headquarters, the Police Media Spokesman said Dissanayake was arrested in connection with the misplacement of 3 vehicles and their relevant documents belonging to the Presidential Secretariat.
