The Democratic Left Front leader Wasudeva Nanayakkara said that SLFP will be isolated by imposing bans on its elected members.
He stated this at the public rally being held in front of the Kandy Public market.
This rally is held canvassing that former President Mahinda Rajapaksa should be made the UPFA Prime Ministerial candidate of the next general election.
This rally has also been organized by the same UPFA coalitions including MEP, NFF, DLF and Pivithuru Hela Urumaya.
Our correspondents said that all religious leaders including the Maha Sangha and NFF leader Wimal Weerawansa, MEP leader Dinesh Gunawardana, DLF leader Wasudeva Nanayakkara, Pivithuru Hela Urumaya leader Udaya Gammanpila and several artistes participated in the rally.
