Two foreigners have gone missing at two locations where they went for a bath.

Police said that a person of Indian nationality who had gone to bathe at the sea belt at Ettu-kaala in Negombo last afternoon.

It is said that he was a 20 year old person named Abhishek Pathel.

The navy has launched an operation in search of the missing person of Indian nationality.

Meanwhile a twenty-three old person of British nationality forming part of a foreign youth team that had come on an excursion in Rajanganaya in Anuradhapura too went missing as a result of going for a river bath in Nilvala Oya in Siyambalaa-bokka.

Police media spokesman’s office said that there were four other foreigners with the missing youth named Timoni Paul John.
