Special officer appointed to resolve issues in the North
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe states that Civil Administration in the North should be strengthened.
The Prime Minister stated this today while attending a meeting held at Kilinochchi Secretariat during his Northern provincial tour.
He also revealed that a special officer will be appointed at the Prime Minister’s Office to resolve the issues of the people of the North.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe paid his last respects to the brother of President, Maithreepala Sirisena, who passed away following an axe attack.
According to our correspondent, the Prime Minster paid his last respects at the residence of Priyantha Sirisena in Athumalpitiya, Polonnaruwa this evening.
