A media briefing was held in parliamentary complex after the motion for obtaining 400 billion rupees through Treasury Bonds was defeated in parliament yesterday.

That was with the participation of MEP leader Dinesh Gunawardhana and MP Vasudeva Nanayakkara.

MPs Geethanjana Gunawardhana, Manuusha Nanayakkara, Sarath Kumara Gunaratna, Jaanka Vakkumbura, Shriyaani Wijevikrama and Y. G. Padmasiri participated in the media briefing.

Expressing his views at the media briefing former Minister Dinesh Gunawardhana said at an occasion like this, according to convention, the Government should resign.
