The health services of the country request the general public to assist minimize accidents during the festival season.

They urged the public to take precautions in using firework, especially lighting fire crackers.

Meanwhile Police stated that operations to arrest drunk drivers have been expedited with effect from today.

The Police Headquarters stated that 322 drunk drivers have been arrested so far, under the special operation launched last Saturday.
