Air port customs apprehended 2 Indian Nationals who attempted to smuggle 4.2 kilo grams of gold to India this afternoon.

Customs media spokesperson Lesly Gamini stated that the stock of gold is worth 21 million rupees.

Meanwhile a 25 year-old Indian was arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport, when he attempted to smuggle gold worth over 16 million rupees, this morning.
