A special SLTB bus service will commence from today until the 21st for the people to return to work after the New Year holiday.

SLTB chairman Ramal Siriwardana stated that 1500 extra turns have been arranged specially, from areas where large crowds are expected to come back to Colombo.

Meanwhile the Railway Department has also arranged special services to Colombo to facilitate train commuters to come back for work after the New Year holiday.

At the same time, our area correspondents stated that Colombo bound bus and train services are running smoothly from their respective areas.

Special train and bus services from tomorrow

A special transportation service will be installed tomorrow, to facilitate those who visited the villagers for the New Year to return.

General Manager of the railway department stated taht additional trains will be deployed tomorrow.

Deputy General manager of the SLTB Raja Gunathilaka stated that additional buses will be deployed from tomorrow, until the 21st of this month.
