Balangoda flag grabber dies

A person who participated without permission in a game in an Avurudu festival which was to grab the flag atop the mountain in the Pambahinna area in Balangoda has died.

Police Media Spokespersons Office stated that the post mortem will be held today.

4 youth had come forward for the game to retrieve the flag which was installed atop of the Pareigala Mountain.

However, a 50 year old person had also participated without informing the organizers and was found dead by the first youth to reach the top of the mountain.
