Sri Lanka Army has held talks with China on improving military ties between the two countries.

The Ambassador of People's Republic of China in Sri Lanka, Yi Xianliang paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Army, Lieutenant General Crishantha De Silva at the Army Headquarters.

The cordial meeting that exchanged views on several bilateral aspects in relation to both People’s Liberation Army of China and Sri Lanka Army was largely focused on ongoing cooperation for training programmes.
