The Sri Lanka Labor Party Leader A.S.P. Liyanage said that his previous decision to gift his Peacock House to former President Mahinda Rajapaksa was temporarily suspended.

Speaking to our news team, A.S.P. Liyanage said that police has informed him to report to the Colombo Crime Division this afternoon.

When our news team enquired him whether he decided to fill the swimming pool of the Peacock House with sand according to the request by the former president, A.S.P. Liyanage had this to say.

Meanwhile our news team contacted Police Media Spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekera to comment on the summons of A.S.P. Liyanage to Colombo Crime Division this afternoon.

He said that police has not informed A.S.P. Liyanage to report to the Colombo Crime Division this afternoon.
