The police say that the body parts of Noel Ranaweera, who died, while working as a private secretary and translator of then Sri Lankan Ambassador to Russia, Udayanga Weeratunga, have been sent for DNA test.

Police Media Spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekera said that the post mortem of the body of late Noel Ranaweera has already completed.

He also said the concluding report would be released based on the findings of the DNA report.

Noel Ranaweera died in Russia 10 months ago while working as the private secretary and translator of then Sri Lankan Ambassador to Russia, Udayanga Weeratunga.
