A woman of Divulapitiya killed by slitting throat

A woman at Madampella, Divulapitiya in Gampaha was found killed by slitting throat inside her house.

According to the police media spokesman’s office, the woman’s body with cut injuries was discovered in the kitchen this morning.

The victim, a 38 year old mother of 2 children, has been identified as Sanjeewani Malkanthi.

No arrests have been made thus far in connection with the incident.
