Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa says that he could not exactly say whether he would be fielded as the Prime Ministerial candidate in the next general election.
In an interview with Aljazeera, the former president said that he would get an opportunity to win, if he would contest the next election.
He also rejected the alleged war crimes as well as allegations of using unlimited power to win the war.
The Aljazeera correspondent also questioned the former President whether he launched a coup after the January 8th presidential election intending to continue in power.
