Minority parties to support 20th A

The SLFP says that the minority parties have pledged their support to pass the 20th Constitutional Amendment.

SLFP Media Spokesman minister Dilan Perera said talks with regard to the change of electoral system are still continuing.

However UNP says that there is an issue with regard to obtaining the support of the minority parties for the 20th Amendment.

When enquired by our news team, Minister Wijedasa Rajapaksa stated that they will take measures to amend the electoral system in a manner in which it would not cause injustice to the minority parties.
