The Colombo High Court Judge Devika Livera de Tennakoon stated today that the verdict of the murders of a mother and her daughter in Kotaketana would be postponed to 28th of this month.

63-year old Liyanarachchige Premawathi and her 23-year old daughter Hevagamage Pushpakumari were hacked to death and were later burnt them inside their house in Kotaketana on July 19th, 2012.

Later Namal Chaminda Silva, Sisira Priyantha Kumara and Lokugam Hewage Ruchira were indicted in connection with the double murder of Kotaketana.

Meanwhile, 52-year old Nayana Nilmini and 18-year old Kavindya Chathurangi of Kotaketana were murdered on the 31st of January 2012.

Lokugam Hewage Darshana alias Raju and his wife Rasika Chandani have been indicted in connection with this double murder.
