The National Sangha Federation says that State officials connected with the destruction of the high sensitive environment zone around Wilpattu including the Mannar District Secretary should resign from their posts.

Hiru C.I. A. reporting the destruction taking place in the High Sensitive Zone around Wilpattu asked the relevant authorities as to who would be responsible for the human and elephant clash occurring in the vicinity.
