Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa informed parliament today that the no confidence motion presented by the opposition MPs against the Central Bank Governor and Bribery Commission Director General could be taken for debate.

He informed this decision after opposition MPs insisted to take the no confidence motion against the Central bank governor for debating yesterday itself.

Meanwhile, R.D. Wimaladasa took oath as an MP for Kurunegala District after the demise of Deputy Minister Neranjan Wickramasinghe.
