Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa says that the law should be enforced equally to the people in the North and in the South.
He expressed these views after participating in a religious event held in Mahiyanganaya yesterday.
When a journalist enquired whether he was satisfied with the measures taken by the police after the murder in Jaffna yesterday, the former President stated that considering history, such incidents may instigate conflicts while emphasizing that Police should enforce the same law in the North as well as the South.
