Update : Truth about body found in a 3 wheeler in Waththala comes to light
Information about the body found in a three-wheeler that had fled after two vehicular accidents in Wattala has come to light by now.
Police media spokesman ASP, attorney-at-law Ruwan Gunasekera said that an extensive investigation had been held after the three-wheeler was apprehended in the vicinity of the Palliyawatta bridge in Wattala.
Even at that time the two persons who had been there had sustained injuries.
While this three-wheeler had come to Thripura in Wattala with three persons, the three of them had been heavily intoxicated with alcohol.

A three wheeler driver who was fleeing after causing two motor accidents in Wattala area, was arrested by the police at Palliyawatta Bridge this evening.
According to Police media spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekara, a body was also found inside the seized three-wheeler.
In addition, 2 injured passengers of the three-wheeler have been admitted to Ragama Hospital.
Expressing regarding the incident ASP Ruwan Gunasekara stated that a three wheeler speeding from Preethipura, Wattala collided with 2 other three wheelers at Palliyawatta bend.
However, when the three wheeler driver attempted to flee after the accident, the residents of the area stopped the three wheeler and found 2 injured persons inside and admitted them to Ragama Hospital.
He also stated that they found a dead body inside the three wheeler, with a head injury.
According to the police media spokesman, the body and the three wheeler are kept at the location pending Magistrate examination, and Wattala Police have commenced an investigation regarding the incident.
