Minister Rishaad Badiudeen says that he and the Muslim community does not accept the report several organizations including Environment  Organisations that probed the constructions in the Wilpattu Sanctuary has submitted to the President to the effect that all those constructions are illegal.

The Minister points out that action will be taken within the next 10 days to submit to President a petition with 200 thousand signatories with intervention from communities in villages such as Musali and Marichchi-kattuwa requesting for their original lands that had been theirs.

The initial phase of this was carried out in locations such as Musali and Marichchi-kattuwa yesterday under the patronage of Minister Rishaad Badiudeen.
