No room for no-confidence motions until 20th amendment is passed
It was revealed in the Cabinet meeting today that no-confidence motion would not be taken for debate until the 20th Amendment is passed.
The Cabinet Spokesman stated that all issues with regard to this matter would be discussed during the cabinet meeting tomorrow before a final decision is taken.
He further said that the 20th Amendment would be gazetted tomorrow.
In addition, the Cabinet has decided to permit the Constitutional Council to proceed with its already appointed 7 members.
At the same time, it was stated in the media briefing to inform Cabinet decisions held today, that steps would be taken to activate the Commission to investigate Bribery or corruption to implement law accordingly.
