Series of guidelines from Health Units to minimize motor cycle accidents

Director of Colombo National Hospital Anil Jasinghe told our news team that injuries caused by motor cycle accidents can be minimized by wearing protective clothing.

He said that motor cycle accidents were the most common form of accidents.

Meanwhile, Police implemented a program since last Wednesday to impose stringent laws regarding motor cycles.

Police media spokesman ASP Ruwan Gunasekara stated that strict laws will be implemented against riding motor cycles without wearing a helmet, not fastening the belt of the helmet, or reckless riding.
