An elephant calf gone missing for 2 days found in the Udawalawa reserve

The elephant calf that was reported missing couple of days ago from the Udawalawa – Ath Athuru sevana was found this morning near the Udawalawa reservoir.

More than 50 wild life officers searched for the missing elephant calf for 2 days.

Dr Tharaka Prasad of the Wild life department elaborating further stated that the calf was recovered from Weerasinhathuduwa area with another elephant.
