It is confirmed that 2500 acres of land are destroyed in the Wilpaththu reserve

The environment minister states that nearly 2500 acres of land in the Wilpaththu reserve have been destroyed.

Secretary to the Ministry Nihal Rubasingha stated that the wild life conservation department has handed over a report to him regarding the Wilpaththu reserve.

President Maithripala Sirisena has instructed the Environment Ministry secretary to hand over a report to him regarding resettlement carried out in the Wilpaththu reserve.
