Five new envoys to Sri Lanka present credentials to President

Four new High Commissioners and one Ambassador to Sri Lanka presented their credentials to the President at a ceremony held at the Presidential Secretariat.

The new diplomats assuming duties were High Commissioner of Kenya, High Commissioner of Ghana, Ambassador of Japan, High Commissioner of Singapore and High Commissioner of Seychelles.

Addressing the gathering President Maithripala Sirisena said that he hopes the new diplomats will work hard to improve bilateral ties and trade links with Sri Lanka
