The stay order issued by the Appeal Court on the ban of full face helmet has been extended upto September 2nd.

The Appeal Court issued the stay order until July 14th, and the court order was extending upto September 2nd when the case was taken for hearing today.

Riding motor bicycles by wearing full face helmets were to ban with effect from April 2nd.

But two persons filed a case with the Appeal court against the ban on March 31st.

The two petitioners stated that police ban on full face helmet has put their life in danger as full face helmets provide better safety to the riders.
