Meanwhile, UNP General Secretary Kabeer Hashim issued a statement with regard to recent statements made by SLFP General Secretary Anura Priyadarshana Yapa and several others.
He said in his statement that the persons who made these statements have proved clearly of their incapability to live like dutiful citizens consequently they have used to live for over ten years under lawlessness, crudeness and uncertainty.
In his communiqué, the UNP General Secretary shows that they are attempting to reinstate the family rule which was refuted by the people of this country on the 8th of January.
However, further expressing his views in the communiqué he reiterated that during the forthcoming General Election which will be held on the 17th of August, people will take the precise decision and will support to carry out the present disciplined governance forward, and will take measures to toss the uncivilized, undisciplined thug factions to the garbage bins of the history.
