Prime Minister assures the freedom of masses

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said that he would safeguard the freedom of the masses.

He also said that he will be committed to provide proper education to the children of the country.

Addressing a public rally held at Pitigala in Elpitiya today, Premier Ranil Wickremesinghe pointed out the need to prevent corruption and misappropriation of state funds.

Elaborating further the Premier stated that they would introduce new laws and implement UN Charter against Corruption to sentence the rogues.

He also stated that 13 years of education will be made compulsory for children and also provide them with vocational training.

The Premier also stated that principals will be given a 3 year period to develop their respective schools and all teachers should be responsible for the results of their particular classes.
