Minister Lakshman Kiriella says that investors did not come to the country during former president Mahinda Rajapaksa regime as the law of the jungle prevailed in the country.

He stated this addressing a media briefing held at Sirikotha UNP headquarters today.

Meanwhile, former MP Rajiva Wijesinghe said that the right to information was sabotaged after a restraining order was issued preventing the release of COPE subcommittee report on Central Bank Treasury bond issue.

However, addressing the media briefing at Sirikotha, minister Lakshman Kiriella said that there are two factions namely law abiding group and another group of its opposite.

Meanwhile, addressing a public rally in Matara, former JVP MP Sunil Handunnetti said that JVP is the only trusted party in parliament.

However, Minister Rajitha Senarathna who participated in opening a UNP office in Payagala area today said that the former president would definitely be defeated in the forthcoming general election.
