Meanwhile, attending a rally held at Weeraketiya area in Hambantota, former Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa stated that those who envy the gigantic projects completed by the Rajapaksa are the ones who make such false allegations.
However, speaking during a rally held at Kiribathgoda town yesterday, JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake expressed his views regarding the return of former President to politics from Kurunegala, adding that the former President is contesting to with the aim of preventing the investigations being conducted against his family and his associates.
