Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe says that former president Mahinda Rajapaksa is contesting from the Kurunegala District to deceive the UPFA voters.

Addressing a public rally at Galgamuwa in Kurunegala today, Premier Ranil Wickremesinghe stated that former President should answer the country about what kind of connection he has with Kurunegala.

The Premier further stated that if the former President cannot answer about his purpose of contesting from Kurunegala, he doesn’t have a right to enter parliament.

The Premier also added that the UNP is contesting to ensure the future of the people.
