JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayaka says that he too will be pleased if former president Mahinda Rajapaksa comes to parliament.

Participating at a people’s rally held at the Beruwala town in Aluthgama last afternoon the JVP leader said so in response to a statement that a group of lawyers supporting the former president had made at a media briefing held at the opposition leader’s office at noon yesterday.

A group of lawyers supporting the UPFA said at a media briefing held at noon yesterday that letters of demand against five persons had been sent asking for compensation for damages caused to the former president by insulting statements of hatred.
