Colombo Additional Magistrate Chandima Liyanage issued notice today on Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran and his son-in-law Arjuna Aloysius to appear before Court.
The notices were issued on the two after a petition against them with regard to an alleged fraud of Rs. 20 billion and the misuse of government money in the transaction of Central Bank Treasury Bond auction.
Accordingly, the Central Bank Governor and his son-in-law should appear before Court on October 30th.
