According to the Badulla District preferential voting results, Hareen Fernando from the UNP claimed the first place by obtaining 200,806 votes.

Raveendra Samaraweera won the 2nd place in the party by obtaining 85,507 votes.

Chaminda Wijesiri was placed 3rd and he obtained 58,291 votes.

Aravinda Kumar and Wadiwel Suresh won the 4th and 5th places in the UNP by obtaining 53,741 votes and 52,378 votes respectively.

Nimal Siripala de Silva won the highest number of votes for the UPFA from Badulla District.

He obtained 134,406 votes.

The 2nd place was claimed by Chamara Sampath Dassanayake of the same party, who won 64,418 votes.

Thenuka Vidanagamage was placed 3rd in the UPFA preferential vote winners, and he obtained 43,517 votes.

According to the results of Matara District preferential voting, Dallas Alahapperuma won the highest number of votes for the UPFA.

He obtained 104,406 votes.

In addition, Niroshan Premaratne was placed 2nd by obtaining 99,762 votes.

Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena claimed the 3rd place and he obtained 97,918 votes.

Kanchana Wijesekara won the 4th place in UPFA preferential vote list by obtaining 83,278 votes.

Chandrasiri Gajadheera who won the 5th place obtained 54,251 votes.

Meanwhile, UNP representative Buddhika Pathirana won the highest number of votes in Matara District.

He obtained 98,815 votes.

Mangala Samaraweera obtained 96,092 votes and was placed 2nd in the list.

In addition, Sagala Ratnayake claimed the 3rd place among UNP preferential vote winners, by obtaining 85,771 votes.
