2.4+million+rupees+worth+foreign+currency+seized+at+airport

Airport Customs arrested a resident of Matara who attempted to smuggle a sum of 2.4 million rupees to Singapore today.

 

The customs also seized 15 thousand US dollars and 10 thousand Saudi Riyal.

 

Our correspondent stated that the suspect attempted to smuggle the foreign currency by concealing the money in his luggage.
