UNP is concerned about the opposition’s level of flexibility; Ready for a clear change: SLFP

The UNP states that it is concerned about the Opposition’s flexibility regarding the formation of a national government which is meant to resolve the problems of the people.


Party’s General Secretary Kabeer Hashim expressed these views after the religious rites held with the participation of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe at the Colombo Grand Mosque today.


Journalists enquired from Minister Kabeer Hashim about the MOU signed between the UNP and the SLFP towards forming a national government. 


Minister Kabeer Hashim stated that the SLFP has proposed amendments with regard to certain proposals of the development action plan. 


He also said that attention has been drawn to these proposals.


Meanwhile, SLFP General Secretary Duminda Dissanayake said that the party has been facing a full restructure. 


Expressing his views to the media near the SLFP Headquarters, Duminda Dissanayake said the discussion with regard to the formation of a National Government was successful.
