Wild Elephants in Polonnaruwa invade villages due to drought

Due to the prevailing drought weather, villagers in Polonnaruwa area say that they are facing difficulties due to wild elephants in forest reserves entering villages.

Expressing their views to our news team, the villagers said that elephants of Habarana forest reserve enter their villages.

It is reported that Soriwila, Dimbulagala and Dalukana areas are facing the issue of invading wild elephants.
