Maththala Airport – a Paddy Store from Today!

The Paddy Marketing Board says that the unused stores complex of the Mattala Airport will be used for storing the surplus paddy harvest of the Hambanthota District from today.

PMB Chairman M. B. Dissanayake told our news team that in the recent past it had become impossible to store paddy harvest in several areas of the island.

The PMB Chairman further said that as a result different sites had been selected for thus storing the paddy harvest.
