A fire broke out in a shop at Rathmalana-Belekkade junction this morning.
The Police Media Office stated that the Fire Brigade of Dehiwala-Mt Lavinia, the police and locals had made every effort to extinguish the fire.
The damage caused to property has not yet been estimated and the reason for the fire has not been identified so far.
