The interim order imposed by the Appeal Court preventing the execution of the full face helmet ban has been extended till the 13th of October.

During the last time the case was taken into hearing, the Appeal Court imposed an interim order preventing the execution of the ban till tomorrow.

The law prohibiting the use of full face helmets on motor bikers was due to be in action from 2nd April. Yet two persons had filed a petition against it on last 31st. Through the petition they mentioned that more protection is ensured by the use of full-face helmets and that it is unfair to ban them.
